We arrange our software delivery engineering team efforts into six major lines of efforts. We construct line of effort around categories of work, expertise, and GTM functionality. Together these lines of work are evergreen efforts to complete and advance a wealth platform. Organizing into lines of effort promotes accountability to mission, resource planning, and communication.

We move quickly (not fast) because we know that as a startup we need to continually deliver features to our growing user base. However we build these features with craftsmanship, we don’t deliver incomplete, broken, or faulty features. We don’t write code that works today but won’t be maintainable in 6 months.
We do make compromises, we shoot for 95% perfection. We know that the last 5% will cost more than the first 95% so we compromise on quality, expandability, or maintainability at the edges when needed. However we internalize that this is not perfect and strive to fix that 5% continually post launch.
